GitHub has introduced Project HydraFusion, a new initiative aimed at achieving frontier-quality coding workflows through multi-model orchestration. Now available as a research preview in GitHub Copilot, this approach has demonstrated the ability to match or surpass Opus 5 baseline performance while also reducing estimated operational costs.
