Shopify’s open-source Ruby template engine, Liquid, has received a significant performance upgrade, resulting in 53% faster parse and render times and 61% fewer memory allocations. These substantial improvements stem from numerous micro-optimizations spearheaded by Shopify CEO Tobias Lütke.
