Microsoft has unveiled two new large language models: MAI-Thinking-1, a reasoning model with 1 trillion parameters (35B active) for early partners, and MAI-Code-1-Flash, a 137B parameter (5B active) model optimized for GitHub Copilot and VS Code. These models are designed to enhance performance and reduce costs for development workflows.
