OpenAI has launched an initiative providing six months of free ChatGPT Pro, which includes Codex, to maintainers of popular open-source projects. This offer mirrors Anthropic’s earlier program of free Claude Max for eligible open-source contributors. Both companies aim to support the open-source community by granting access to advanced AI development tools.
